Pittsburgh Fashion Week to debut in 2010

Miyoshi Anderson, a Pittsburgh fashion model with a national presence, announced the creation of Pittsburgh Fashion Week at a noon news conference at Joseph Orlando men’s store, Downtown.

She was joined by a number of local fashion insiders, including store owners Joseph Orlando Sr., Joseph Orlando Jr., and Christi Orlando Marchi; Cora Deloia, owner of Spoiled Chics the Boutique in Sewickley; Diana Misetic, fashion designer and owner of Little Black Dress in Shadyside; milliner Janis Burley Wilson of Janis B. et al; Emilio, owner of Izzazu International Salon in Wexford and Downtown; fashion designer and makeup artist Adrian Cooper; graphic artist and logo and website designer Hilary Klein; fashion photographer Mary Beth Kratsas; Maria Palermo, representing Pittsburgh City Councilwoman Darlene Harris; PFW executive assistant Angie Williams; and PFW assistant director and marketing manager LaMont Jones, editor of TheStyleArbiter.com and former fashion editor for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
